Miscellaneous:
Portfolios of Dewey's aerial photography (1988), Sedgwick Ranch (1995), and Santa Rosa Island Historic Ranching Operations (1996) were featured in issues of Santa Barbara Magazine. Unique bird's eye video footage of the west coast of Baja California was used by the BBC and PBS for inclusion in the 1989 documentary, The Mystery of Laguna Baja. Recently, the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History collaborated with Dewey on the production of an exemplary aerial poster of the four Northern Channel Islands. Other publications featuring Dewey's photography illustrate his great interest in photographing the Channel Islands including: California Channel Islands, 1001 Questions Answered (1987); Santa Cruz Island Anthology (1989); and Northern Channel Islands Anthology (1989).

Current Projects:

Dewey’s current work includes HABS photography of the cultural resources on the California Channel Islands of Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz and Anacapa for the Channel Islands National Park. He has also recently completed photography for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for a book to be published in 2001 on its 100 years of history. Also completed in 2000 was HAER recordation of two historic bridges in Santa Barbara County for Applied Earthworks of Fresno, CA.
